Learning Activities

Begin by reading your personal book for 15 minutes.

We will talk about your reading of The Giver tomorrow. You can leave your book in the classroom on the shelving unit if you wish.

Today is your final research day. All information should be on the group table and organised very clearly- colour-code info. to source used. MLA formatted sources ready. No plagiarism- quote or paraphrase only.

Check each other's work and make suggestions in the final 10 minutes of class. Tomorrow this will be taken by Ms. Kirsty to be graded and we move to part 2 of the project- writing up your findings.

Home Learning:
You will submit your research via Managebac at the beginning of next class

Learning Activities:
Begin by writing about your personal reading from this week.

Today you will submit your research to me for grading.

You will then create paragraph plans for part 2 of the overall assignment. 

Home Learning:
Finish any planning. Next class you will write up your paragraphs.

Read The Giver for next Wednesday.
