-Let's read the next 2 chapters. Keep a note of the timing and order of the Ceremony. You'll need it next class.

-Begin by reading your personal text for 15 minutes.

-Using the information you gathered from our reading today, you will create a 1/2-1 page event program for the Ceremony.

-Include accurate order of events with who is involved in each.
-Layout information with a title, sub-titles and clarity
-Accurate grammar
-Colourful design with images or decoration to suit the event.

Next you will be working in teams to learn a little more about 'The 8 Elements of a Civilisation' and applying them to The Giver.
